AEA is officially part of the Community Service course at BU as one of the available nonprofit organizations for volunteers and will accept BU student’s entry starting the semester of Fall 2023, after the previous advocacy project successfully conducted by students Georgette Maskobi, Muhammad Salah, and Yasin Musa.
Diana Babish was therefore invited to the international conference hosted by BU in collaboration with the Uniservitate Hub for Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East, managed by the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU), entitled « Current Status and Future Prospects of Service Learning ».
The event took place on the 25 and 26 of May, consisting of workshops, poster sessions, and more, to discuss the newly incorporated service learning system and its outcomes. AEA was featured in the students poster depicting their work, which they formally presented.
Diana Babish was also a special guest in Mrs. Hanadi Younan and Mr. Ramzi’s workshop, themed Global Citizenship and Advocacy, where she and a group representative Georgette Maskobi introduced the participants to AEA and discussed their recent achievement as a call to action in the near future.
